Kali Smith, MS, LPCA
Kali is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She received a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2018. While working towards her degree, she completed a one-year practicum and internship at a large mental health practice in Raleigh, NC. During that time, she provided counseling services to both male and female adult clients.
Kali utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy. She believes that the time people spend outside of therapy is even more important than the time spent in it. She focuses on teaching skills that can be utilized in real world settings to help ease distress and improve overall function in life. She works collaboratively with her clients to form concrete, attainable goals and then guides clients along the path toward achieving their goals.
Kali is currently working towards full licensure and is under the clinical supervision of Raychelle Lohmann, Ph.D, LPC, LPCS.
