Behavior Problems in Childhood and Adolescence

If your child's or teen's behavior is out of control, we can help. Our child and teen therapists use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), parent education, and other psychotherapy methods to help kids and teens with behavioral issues. Our child counselors in Cary NC start with a detailed assessment of the problem to formulate a treatment plan as well as to identify any underlying causes of the behavior, such as anxiety, depression, or social problems.

Reach Out Today

If your child or adolescent needs an assessment first to determine whether a mental disorder is causing or contributing to the problem, our child psychologist can help. We diagnose and treat Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, and other emotional-behavioral disorders. Other problems, such as anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, and trauma can also contribute to behavioral problems.
