Elaine Rodriguez, MA, LCSWA
Elaine Rodriguez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. With a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Clark University and a Master of Social Work, she specializes in mental health and substance abuse. She began her career counseling at-risk youth and their families in an outpatient setting within their homes and communities. Elaine relocated from Connecticut to Raleigh and provided telephonic counseling for an Employee Assistance Program. She is also employed at Wake Tech Community College as a Wellness Counselor. Her passion is guiding students through issues of development, identity, and managing life’s challenges.
Elaine believes in personal autonomy and that everyone has the potential to reach their goals. She considers therapy a collaborative process, where the counselor guides the client through their journey. She has considerable experience working with youth, young adults and the LGBTQ+ community. Elaine assumes a humanistic approach and is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Counseling.
Elaine is currently accepting patients age 13 through adult and is in-network with most Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans. We are glad to have her on board and think you will enjoy working with her!
