Self-Pay Rates for Clinical Services
If you have health insurance, please call your plan and ask if your clinician is considered to be in-network. If not, you can ask your insurance company if you have any out-of-network benefits. Click here for more information about using health insurance with us. A $40 deposit is required to schedule an initial appointment for therapy or evaluations unless otherwise noted below.
The following rates apply if you are self-pay only, if the service you are seeking is not covered by your plan, or if you are using out-of-network health insurance benefits:
Associate-level Counselors
Licensed clinicians with a master's degree in counseling or social work and experience providing counseling services. They receive clinical supervision as they work toward full independent license.

Per hour of psychologist's time spent in activities such as obtaining and reviewing collateral information, administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests, writing the report, and providing feedback.

Psychological testing may be done by our licensed psychologists or our licensed psychological associates.

Clinicians perform many hours of work on a psychological evaluation even when they are not meeting directly with you.
Estimated Total Fees for Evaluations
To help you plan financially, the following is a list of estimated total fees for various types of evaluations we offer. Sometimes, more extensive testing is required at additional cost. We cannot know if you will need more extensive testing until we evaluate you and determine your unique needs. Please discuss your financial concerns with us.

$40 deposit required for scheduling an evaluation unless otherwise noted below. All evaluations, unless specified, require an initial appointment (typically 45-60 minutes) during which the clinician will gather information about you.

The clinician will select test(s) based on your symptoms. If self-report tests are selected, you may be able to complete these tests in the office immediately after your initial interview or remotely if the evaluation has been done by telehealth. Results are not immediately available and will be discussed with you during your final feedback session.

We ask that you pay at least 50% of the estimated cost of your evaluation at your first appointment and settle your final balance at the final appointment. Any testing requiring direct administration by the clinician will be scheduled for a later date unless otherwise noted.

Fees for evaluations include not only the time your clinician spends with you directly, but also the clinician's time scoring and interpreting tests and preparing a written report. Your clinician spends many hours on your evaluation when you are not present!
Clinical Psychological Evaluations
ADHD Evaluation: $950.00 (estimated)
Includes clinical diagnostic interview, psychological testing, feedback session, and written report sent to physician or other provider. Involves an initial appointment for the clinical interview, possible additional appointments for testing, and 1 appointment for the feedback session. Pre-Bariatric Surgery Psychological Evaluation (Initial): $500.00 (estimated)
For patients seeking bariatric surgery. Includes clinical diagnostic interview, psychological testing, and written report sent to your bariatric surgeon. Includes 30-60 minutes with the clinician and an additional 1-2 hours for testing. Often, only one appointment is required. In some cases, a follow-up appointment is required at an additional fee. Most Other Clinical Psychological and Neuropsychological Evaluations: $900.00 (estimated)
Clinical diagnostic interview, psychological testing, feedback session, written report. Useful for diagnosing mental disorders such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and cognitive problems. Involves an initial appointment for the clinical interview, possible additional appointments for testing, and 1 appointment for the feedback session.
Psychoeducational Testing
IQ Testing only: $500.00
Provides information about cognitive ability in multiple areas of intelligence. Includes brief interview, full-scale IQ testing, score report, and 30-minute feedback session. We use the following standardized tests:

$75 deposit required at scheduling, as 2 hours of the clinician's time are reserved for your initial appointment (brief interview and testing). Scores are not immediately available and will be provided during the feedback session on a later date.
Learning Disorder Testing: $1100.00 (estimated)
Includes interview, review of academic records, IQ and achievement test, diagnosis, feedback session, and report with intervention recommendations. This price does not include a clinical psychological evaluation. Involves an initial appointment for the clinical interview, 2-3 separate appointments for testing, and 1 appointment for the feedback session. Early Entry into Kindergarten Testing: $650.00
This testing satisfies only part of the requirements for consideration of early entry to kindergarten. Please read more about early enrollment into kindergarten evaluations here. Price includes full-scale IQ test, selected achievement subtests, and feedback session. $75 deposit required at scheduling, as 2 hours of the clinician's time are reserved for your first appointment (brief interview and testing).
