Dr.  Mary Anne Etheridge is a licensed psychologist and certified health services provider.  She maintains a private practice in Raleigh, North Carolina.

With over a decade of experience as a clinician, Dr. Etheridge is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

Education and Experience

Dr. Etheridge holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counseling Psychology and Human Systems from Florida State University.  She completed doctoral practica in forensic psychiatric hospital, outpatient mental health clinic, and career counseling center settings. She has held contracts with state social service agencies in two states and has been part of several group psychology practices.  She uses only currently accepted, valid and reliable psychological assessment instruments and is adept at their use and interpretation.  Dr. Etheridge is a Licensed Psychologist in the states of Florida and North Carolina.

Dr. Etheridge is a member of the American Psychological Association, North Carolina Psychological Assocation, the American Psychology-Law Society, and is a clinical associate member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers.
